BIOLYPH is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who is a self-motivated team player, detail oriented and eager to help produce our Clients' IVD/RUO products Effectively, Efficiently and Economically.

Outcomes:

Engineering Design & Fabrication

  • Implement and design Process & Production Equipment to support BIOLYPH's business model of Effective, Efficient and Economic service to our Clients
  • Fabricate prototypes of fixtures, as required
  • Develop and maintain equipment drawings in accordance with Quality System requirements

Equipment Maintenance

  • Work with Facility Manager to troubleshoot and resolve production equipment issues
  • Document equipment maintenance in accordance with Quality System requirements
  • Recognize needs, recommend and implement solutions

Special Projects

  • As defined by current business needs

Competencies Required:

  • Troubleshooting, developing or improving mechanical and electromechanical systems using analytical and statistical methods
  • Analysis & problem solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • High degree of personal and professional discipline
  • Operate effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in English communication skills
  • Adjusting to shifting work priorities

Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Travel:

  • This position will generally not require travel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • CREO experience, preferred
